Uploading a New Release

Step-by-Step Upload Guide

1. Log into your FTP software and upload the mastered WAV (44.1 kHz, 16-bit, stereo) file of your track. There must be no spaces or gaps in the filename. An example file format is shown below:
   Ben_Stevens_-_The_Warning_-_Extended_Mix.wav
2. Once the audio has fully uploaded to the FTP log into your Label Manager account here:
   https://labelmanager.toolboxdigitalshop.com/
3. Go to the Tracks menu option and click Add Track
4. Select the track from the dropdown menu and click Submit
5. On the General tab enter the Release details:
   • Track Code (Catalogue Number)
   • Track Name
   • Image (1024 x 1024 pixel artwork .jpg or .png)
   • Release Date
6. On the Artists tab enter the names of the Artists on the release
   • Each box should only have 1 Artist. For releases with multiple artists click the plus icon to add another box.
   • If an artist is a has done the remix on the release tick the Remixer box
7. On the PRS tab please add real writer names and publisher details
   • Publisher box (for example Hatfish Music) - Do not use the record label name unless you are a registered publisher with PRS.
     If you artists do not have a publisher please add Copyright Control to this box
   • Writer Box - this should be the artists full real name and not their artist alias
8. Click Submit for Review
9. Once you have clicked submit the release will show on the Manage Tracks page.
   The release will be Pending until the site has processed it. If you have set the release date for today it will be on the site in 20 minutes.
   If you have set the release date for sometime in the future the site will process the track at midnight and if it is to be released in the next 4 weeks the track will be added to the pre-orders section.
   You do not need to activate the track yourself, the site will process everything.
